These advancementsinclude new partnerships with Convoy and Turvo, as well asimplementing robotic process automation (RPA) – all of which willenable DHL Supply Chain to provide higher levels of service for itscustomers.
Convoy’s digital freight network and the Turvo platform willintegrate with MySupplyChain – DHL’s proprietary end-to-endvisibility and business intelligence solution.
DHL Supply Chain is the first third-party logistics provider topartner with Convoy, a nationwide digital freight network that isfocused on solving problems in the $800B trucking industry byconnecting the best trucking companies and shippers to movemillions of truckloads. DHL has directly integrated Convoy’snetwork of high- carriers into their supply chainapplication providing access to Convoy’s automated real-timepricing allowing shippers to benefit from increased capacity withguaranteed coverage.

The team at DHL Supply Chain is also expanding its integration ofrobotic process automation (RPA) into everyday operations. RPAleverages software to automate repetitive tasks such as collectingdocuments for proof of delivery, scheduling loads, event trackingand others, reducing manual error and increasing speed. DHL SupplyChain in North America has offset over 5,000 hours of manual workwith RPA, and globally there are over 30,000 hours saved per yearduring the pilots.

According to a recent DHL report, companies are increasinglyviewing transportation as more than a tactical commodity, with 71percent now considering it to be a strategic component of theirbusiness.
